Animals will be sold in pairs only (male/female) unless sex ratios are skewed creating extra males or females.

Cashiers checks and Postal money orders should be made payable to Split Rock Reptiles. Payment address will be supplied through email.

Payment through PayPal must be discussed via e-mail prior to the transaction. Our PayPal email address is different from our actual contact email address. Please contact us first for our PayPal email address before sending payment through PayPal.

Reservations/Deposits: customer reservations on specific hatched animals cannot be made or honored without a non-refundable deposit.

We do maintain waiting lists for projected or expected hatches which do not require a deposit. When the specific animals are hatched and ready for sale, those on the waiting list will be contacted and advised of availability. At this time prompt full payment or a non-refundable deposit will be required to hold requested animals. Amount of deposit will be discussed prior to receipt of deposit.

Shipping

Shipment (door-to-door) is available through overnight carriers at an approximate cost between $45-$55. Please provide your zip code so an exact shipping rate can be determined. Live arrival is not guaranteed with overnight express carriers. Shipment is also available Airport-to-Airport through Delta Dash for approx. $70. Each Delta Dash shipment is insured up to a maximum claim of $700. Shipment options will be discussed on an order-by-order basis. Split Rock Reptiles will not ship if weather and temperature conditions are not acceptable for reptile shipment. We do not offer International shipping at this time.

Buyer Responsibility

The buyer must be responsible for knowing the status of protected or threatened snake species of his or her resident state. Check with you local Department of Parks and Wildlife to see if it is ILLEGAL to possess or buy the species you are interested in within the borders of your state! Split Rock Reptiles does not knowlingly ship any animal(s) into any state where it is illegal to buy or possess those animals. This primarily applies to but is not limited to Western Hognose Snakes, Southern Hognose Snakes, Eastern Fox Snakes and Outer Banks Kingsnakes.

Guarantee

All animals are guaranteed to be in excellent health, established feeders (eaten three or four times consecutively), correctly sexed and mite free. The health of the animal(s) is guaranteed for forty eight(48) hours from the time of pick up or delivery due to the fact that once it leaves our facility we no longer control its care or environment. Split Rock Reptiles must be notified of any problems or concerns immediatlely after pick up or delivery.

Return Policy

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you have forty eight (48) hours from the time of receipt to contact us for a replacement or a credit. There will be no cash refunds. Return shipping charges are the customer's responsibility unless the animal(s) were incorrectly sexed. Returned animals must be shipped in their original shipping boxes and containers via the same overnight carrier. Replacements (if available) will be sent after the returned animal(s) have been fully examined. If no replacement animal(s) are available a credit will be issued. Split Rock Reptiles will not be responsible for shipping charges on replacement animals.
