Milksnakes

Breeder (Female)

Black Milksnakes
(Lampropeltis triangulum gaigeae)
These amazing animals start their hatchling lives as red, black, and cream-to-yellow banded tricolored snakes. As these beauties grow they begin to "fade to black" as they near sub-adulthood. Once this ontogenetic change has been completed, the Black Milksnake takes on a truly impressive appearance exhibiting an iridescence full of blues, indigoes and violets when held in the sunlight. Our Black Milks are San Antonio Zoo stock and are black as the dark of night.

Breeder (Female)

Ocean County, NJ Coastal Plains Milksnakes
(Lampropeltis triangulum “temporalis”)

Another very interesting variety of Milksnake – our Coastal Plains Milks are a relict cross between the Eastern Milksnake (L.t.triangulum ) and the Scarlet Kingsnake (L.t.elapsoides). Beautiful animals! Our stock comes from Carl Barlett's striped line. We are hoping for a successful breeding season in 2006. .

Albino Nelsons Milksnakes
( Lampropeltis triangulum nelsoni )

Our male is a high contrast red, white and yellow albino who is a pleasure to work with. He is truly a "ladies man". We have three unrelated het. females that produce some very attractive "bulls eye" albinos and hets. Pretty animals and very popular!
